6 sets of 6 reps is my favorite setup for mass building. Plus, chins and dips are the absolute best for packing on some size. Great stuff. Good luck with the front squats.

Tuesday Squat Success
Back felt great today, will see how it feels tomorrow. That will be the true test. Squatted to a high box with no pain at all. Probably 3 inches above parallel. Going to keep box squats for another 3 weeks, one cycle and then see how everything is going. Will adjust the height closer to parallel.

High Box Front squats
5 reps x 95, 115, 135, 155, 175, 195
3 reps x 215, 235, 255
That is it, still felt very strong. Everything seems to be firing just fine. Cut it off there, thought is was enough volume, quads were blown up.

Reverse Hypers
3 sets x 10-15 reps
plus an extra set or 2 in warm ups

Did some more rehab stuff and called it a day. Will continue to be careful for a while. Very happy with today.

Wednesday recovery
Solid session, did what I needed to do. Got a pump and loosened up. This will be one of my off day workouts. Short and easy, get the blood flowing

Sled drills 2 rounds
*each one about 40 yards

Upper body
Bench, row, Tri extension, curl, front raise, rear delt extension

Lower body
Forward walk, backward walk, walk while holding between legs

After this took a walk with the sled, probably about a half mile.

My back feels great, no pain. I have some soreness, but is all over. General soreness, just from not squatting for over 2 weeks. Tomorrow is floor press, next week will start my new program.

1/2 mile with the sled sounds fun. I'm sure your sled appreciated being let out of the yard
