Thanks offroad, I am working on it. Stretching, now going to start using banded Gms, to try to flush the area with blood

Friday straight line speed
Got some minimalist shoes today,decided to go with Merrill trail gloves, really liked the feel of them. The new balance shoes felt very unnatural to me. These felt great, but will take some getting used to.

Sled sprints
4 warm up sprints
Plus 45 x 10 sprints x about 40 yards

Did some other sled drills

Ab wheel
3 x 10

Leg raises
3 x 10

Various band static holds

Band Gms
Average band x 3 x 20

Planning to d more Gms later with a light band along with some stretches. Felt pretty good today. Back is tight but feels like it is getting better.

Tomorrow will probably be light events. Not sure what events yet

Saturday Strongman
Felt solid today, really worked on some things. Went with a moderate weight, about 70% and worked on volume. Learning how to get tighter. On the yoke, as long as my core stays tight I am fine.

Yoke, 20-25 feet per set
180 x 4
230 x 2
250 x 2
300 x 2
380 x 4
430 x 2
450 x 1
380 x 3

Zercher walks
180 x 3

These are painful

Reverse Hypers
140 x 5 sets x 10
140 x 20
Crazy pumps in my low back

Band GMs
average band x 4 x 20

Happy with this session overall, I did a lot of warm ups which seemed to really help. Going to do some stretching later. Tomorrow will be an easy day depending how I feel. Getting better!

I never pull from the floor anymore. If that back keeps acting up try keeping it to 3 inches at the lowest and see how that feels.

That is a good idea, I will stick to that. Relearning how to get my core tight.

Want to mention my abs are sore as hell, and my feet ankles are a little sore. From the barefoot shoes, love them so far

My college buddy was here last night, so we drank a lot of beer. I was able to recover and get a good session in

Pretty easy session did some good warm ups. My back feels really good, hoping tomorrow I have no pain when I squat. I will stretch out again tonight
