Nothing but awesomeness in here.
Those 20 rep split squats (a while ago) sound brutal with all the added weight.

Impressive split squats. Keep at the fronts I think a big front squat means big strong core.

Thanks offroad, the 20 rapper was brutal. My glutes were sore for a week.

Thanks man, I agree with you on the fronts. Especially since I am now focused on strongman, him there is more carry over

Tuesday agility work
Tons of warm ups today. Lots of soreness in my legs and glutes. Back is tight, not bad though. Loving this defranco warm up, really seems to help me get going.

Warm up
Rolling, mountain climbers, groiners, mobility drills

Ladder drills
40 minutes of various drills
Minimal rest

5 light sprints, tried to lengthen my stride and stretch out

Decline sit ups
2 x 20
1 x 15

Side bends
3 x 15 each side

Pretty solid session, I will do the defranco warm up again tonight. I think this is helping and it is super quick. I will try to do it often

Wednesday speed OHP
Solid session today, I like bands on push press. Makes me focus on pushing through the weight

Push press, plus mini band
95 x 2 x 3
135 x 2 x 3
155 x 3 x 3
175 x 3 x 3, little too heavy for speed
135 x 2 x 3

Klokov press
95 x 8
115 x 2 x 8

Dips
BW x 2 x 10
Plus light band x 3 x 8
BW x 12

Pushdowns
3 x 15

Single arm push down
3 x 12

Pull ups
3 x 6

Lateral raise
2x 20

Shoulders felt a little beat up, I think from front squats. My body will get used to them. Good session overall.

Tomorrow is Deadlifts. I am thinking of experimenting with doing Deads with the yoke bar on my back. I think it could help some form issues. And be fun

Intense pressing session. Looking forward to the crazy deadlift fun. Deads with a bar on your back sounds interesting.

Thursday deadlift fail
Experimented with the yoke bar on my back, did not work out. At the gym, they took the handles off so the bar did not balance on my back. When I locked out the bar fell off my back.

Rack pulls, sumo and conventional
135 x 4 x 3
225 x 4 x 3
275 x 3 singles
315 x 3 singles
225 x 3 x 3
Low back is still irritated, need to take a break from Deads. Going to just do good mornings and see

Yoke bar Gms
90 x 2 x 5
140 x 3 x 5
These felt ok

Chest supported rows
60 x 2 x 10
80 x 2 x 8
95 x 6
80 x 2 x 8

Band pull a parts
Monster mini x 3 x 20

Hammer curls
30 x 15
35 x 15
40 x 12
45 x 2 x 8

Band good morning
Average band x 5 x 20

Not happy with my back, Deadlifts still bother it. I am going to continue with stretching and my warm ups. I am thinking of adding a long walk first thing in the morning. Getting into a bit of a funk, think this will help get me going.

Just gonna stay focused and attack
