Sunday ok session
I was very sore today. Just too much volume on the tire had some low back pain and a little knee soreness. Trained through it, hit a pr on zombies and called it a day.

Zombie squats
95 x 2 x 5
135 x 2 x 3
185 x 2
205 x 1
225 x 1
255 x 1 pr
This last one was kinda ugly, but the weights are starting to feel better in the zombie position

Stone training movement
2 plates x 3
3 plates x 3
4 plates x 3
5 plates x 1
These were done with bar in corner,wrap arms under it and pick it like a stone

Called it a day and did some foam rolling and stretching. Need to make sure I am recovered. Last week of heavy training.

Monday last week of juggernaut
Bench felt very off today, but I still crushed my weights. So I am happy about this

Close grip bench
135 x 2 x 5
185 x 3' 2
225 x 2
265 x 1
285 x 5 sets x 3 reps
Solid, these felt good for the most part

DB standing OHP
50s x 10
60s x 8
70s x 6
75s x 4
60s x 8
Been a while on these

Chest supported DB row
60s x 10
70s x 4 x 8
Took it a little easier on the back

Fat grip Pushdowns
150 x 20
190 x 15
210 x 12

Lateral raise
12s x 15
15s x 2 x 15

Band pull a parts
Mini. X 3 x 15

Hit so,e reverse hypers and light band Pushdowns and called it a day.

I started reading the cube method for strongman, I am very intrigued. Look for me to run after this competition

Tuesday conditioning agility
Reading cube method has given me new ideas. Need to start working in agility drills as well as straight line stuff. I thought my conditioning was ok, this proved me wrong!

Lots of warm ups

Shuttle run
5,10,5 yards
6 total, 3 each direction

Ladder drils
3 each
I don't have a ladder so just did some random stuff

Suicide sprints
10, 20, 30 yards
Back and forth, 4 total, 2 turmimg each way

An wheel
3 x 10

Did some foam rolling andstretching. Feeling pretty good, squats and Deads tomorrow. I think agility work is important for strongman. After this competition I plan on running the cube method, stay tuned! I will also write a book review for the site once I read it again!
