Saturday strongman
Very cold today, everything was frozen. When I started it was only 23 degrees. My tire was full of solid ice and my keg was frozen solid

Log clean and press
105 x 2 x 5
145 x 2 x 3
165 x 3
195 x 2
215 x 1
225 x 3 singles
Not bad, I had a lot of layers on which takes away from my explosiveness. Hoping it is warmer when I compete

Farmers walk
*down 40 ft drop, repick go back 40 ft
160 each x 1
210 x 1
250 x 1
160 x 1
210 x 1
250 x 1
Went for more volume and serious speed on the light sets, once again tough with layers on

Sledge
3 sets x 10 swings each side
10 second rest, pretty much straight through

Went inside for recovery stuff

3 rounds
Band Pushdowns
Band curls
Sit ups
Poor man reverse hypers

Good session. I am 4 weeks out from my comp. I am planning to do 2 more weeks of juggernaut and lighten the squats. Then I will do basically a 2 week deload. Going into this comp just to have fun, then depending on how I do I will plan a more serious comp for late summer or fall.

Sunday quick session
Felt surprisingly good today, back felt good and legs felt decent. Lots of warm ups and a couple pros

Solid session, very happy with my lower body recovery. I feel great after a weekend of hard training

Cg bench press

Paused first rep of each set with short rest

DB rows
80s x 10
100s x 10
120s x 8
140s x 6
Add straps
150s x 15 tough set

Klokov press
95 x 6
115 x 5

Shoulders were a little sore

Band extensions
Average band x 4 x 20

That is it, rou day. Not much sleep but hit what I needed to. Tomorrow I am going to experiment with some low intensity cardio. Going to hit the treadmill and do some walking on a serious incline. Going to see how this affects my lower body recovery

Form is pretty good, I really focus on form with these. And if you go forward at all it is over. I am also elevating my heels on these

Tuesday easy recovery day

Treadmill
Very fast walk, almost a jog on the highest incline I could
About 20 mins
For half of this I wore a back pack with a 25 plate in it

Then just some recovery stuff. Squats tomorrow
