Dang, that is sooo cool. I used to be a huge wrestling fan but lost intrest when the WCW folded. Things went down hill from there. But you must know a ton about it. It amazes me how you guys can do the things you do. Impressive! So tell me, what does it really feel like to get slammed?

His form continues to improve on everything as he gets stronger. He is really starting to figure out how to use his muscles on the exercises. Effort is getting tougher and he's starting to talk about muscle soreness after the workout is over. All good stuff and making steady, small improvements from week to week.

Not so fun. There are some big boys and they miss the mark quite a bit. I took quite a beating.

This workout marks the first time he'll be using real lifts and real progression. He'll be working hard from here on out. It's funny, but coaching the press proved harder than coaching the squat. But at least that might mean a smooth transition to the Trap Bar. Just like me, his focus lifts are going to be the Trap Bar and Military Press. Those lifts will have the best carry-over to the field I think. Dr. Ken always said that the Press was the closest thing to a football block, and you can't argue the effectiveness of the Trap Bar for over-all strength, safety, and ease of learning.

Only two more weeks of basketball season, so we'll be doing a lot more conditioning on our own after that.
