Still strong benching! I've been loving pendlay's in my routine, but if your gym's anything like mine, you'll get some funny looks for doing a proper row

I know what you guys mean, and i hate it. Almost all advice given at the gym infuriates me. You never know why someone is doing what they’re doing in the gym, so it’s never safe to assume things like “hey, bro, you’re gonna wanna do 3 sets of 10 with less weight,” or whatever other amazing advice they bestow upon you.

Great PR on the deads and 120kgx4 is pretty damn good for bench, some of us aspire to reach that level
Tried Pendlays but they didn't feel good for me. I felt like I was straining to reach, maybe because of my short legs (one of my mates is 7 inches shorter than me and has virtually the same length leg) and long body though you would think that would make it easier!

Wow - 265 lb bench for reps is pretty mighty in my book Mark

Pendlay''s are one of my all-time fave lifts. Ya gotta like it anytime you have an opportunity to SFW off of the floor.

i never give advise in the gym - if someone is doing an exercise and its 100% certain they will injure themselves i still keep the blinkers on. i find that people generally dont want to be told they are wrong. if someone asks me directly , ill tell them what has worked for me - it may not be the same for them.

the way i see it, i havent near enough qualifications to tell someone what they should do.

yeah, and you never know why someone is doing what they're doing or why they're doing it that way.
