Not bad. Ditching the belt for now. Reps were easy, lungs were not happy.

Gaining momentum and feeling strong with weight dropping nice and slow. 100.8kg weigh in this morning.

Solid stuff JT, hook grip is getting popular around these parts of late, like the no belt idea, I'm at that myself for another two weeks, then just introduce it for heavy single day for following 4weeks, nice work on the weight too? Any particular goal in mind or just getting things tidy for the summer??

Big fan of hook grip but I don't usually use it for reps. I'm aiming for 6 weeks with some heavier work too and then the 6-7 week run up to the meet I'll add belt back, it's only squatting that it impacts a lot but high bar close stance might counter that some. I just got fed up of feeling fat on the seefood diet, thought it was time for a change. I'm thinking maybe 94-95kg but not forcing anything.

BDFPA North West qualifiers in September, it's not on the site yet but pretty sure it's going down where I competed at the Strongman comp. Might as well see what I can put together. Feels good to have some focus for training.
