The squats looked tight to me. Keep crushing it.

Cheers Al and BtB, finally getting back to it.

16/08/12 - Deadlift & Squat

Deadlift
170kg x 4 @8
170kg x 4 @8
170kg x 4 @8
170kg x 4 @9.5

Paused Squat
100kg x 5 @8
105kg x 5 @8
110kg x 5 @8
110kg x 5 @9

Pendlay Rows
60kg x 5
70kg x 8 x 3

Banded Abs & Sidebends

Deadlift started pretty good but fatigued quick, 4th set was like a lead weight and not too happy with lower back on that one. Trying to keep a flatter upper back on the pulls and played a little with head position. Also trying to find a decent place for my belt away from my ribs.

Squats felt really good, again hit a wall with the fatigue on the 4th but top set was 10kg up from last time. Squat is on the move.

Great stuff JT! I think you need to adjust your scale, you made them look a lot easier than 8s and 9s!

Thanks Mike, I usually think that when I look back over the videos, I was particularly hesitant to push and have anything pop out of place again yesterday though.

Thanks Rob, ye I got tired real quick, some alright work in though.

Just chillin' with my dog waiting for my friend to come round for some bench. Slingshot, maybe bands and who knows, maybe some boards too. Need to make the most of my garage before I end up back in the world of commercial gyms. Also need to get my deadlift moving as he informed me he pulled 200kg last night, I'll be really pissed if he over takes me.

17/08/12 - Bench II

Reactive Sling Bench x4 @8
115kg x 4 @7.5 (Intended first working set, too easy)

120kg x 4 @8
125kg x 4 @8 +5kg PB
125kg x 4 @8
120kg x 4 @8
120kg x 4 @8.5

Band Ass. Chins
blue x 10,8,10

Good session, set up for banded bench but was dead and shoulders/elbows were beat.

I've been setting PB's recently, mostly because I've been in unexplored rep ranges. I hit 120kg x 4 @8 a month ago and that was a pretty huge PB so to add 5kg and it still be fast and feel light feels like really solid progress. Dropped the weight as I knew it would've ended there if I left 125 on and I wanted a little extra work.

Back is getting there, excuse the bacne, although some would think it points towards heavy steroid use, it's actually just my raging hormones or some shit.
