Good thinking, will be stealing that idea.

Cheers, 45kg was tough and muscled up to finish. I'd like to keep at it for a few weeks and see how much I could push it but I think it would keep aggravating the shoulder which is really annoying.

23/07/12 - Squat & Deadlift

Squat w/Belt
152.5kg x 3 @9 PB
155kg x 3 @9.5 PB
155kg x 3 @9.5
157.5kg x 3 @9! +7.5kgPB

14" Deadlift
180kg x 3 @9
182.5kg x 3 @9.5
182.5kg x 3 @10

Ab Wheel
BW knees x 15 x 3

Squats were tough and was going to call it after the second 155 but wasn't happy with only a 5kg PB. The last set looks similar to the others but it felt a lot easier and smoother and I would've been confident going for another rep unlike the sets prior so the RPE went down in my book.

Pulls were tough, always are after squat reps, probably a beltless PB but that's clutching a little.

Need to cut the session times down and get more assistance/stretching stuff in though.

Now that's hammering it home.

Mind was elsewhere, but the body wanted PRs.

Reversed rolls today.

27/07/12 - Deadlift & Squat

Deadlift w/Belt
190kg x 3 @9.5
192.5kg x 3 @10 PB Upper back just wasn't having it today and led to grip dying and a shit lockout.

Paused Squat
115kg x 3 @8.5
120kg x 3 @9.5
120kg x 3 @9.5

Some rough stuff outside of gym going on, no appetite, no motivation and weight dropping off. Today was pretty tough and deads were just off. Still, I got in which is more than I thought would happen.

Great stuff, JT! Mind and body rarely go together, nice to get the best of both, eh?

Awesome lifting.
