Thanks Kuyt, trading the volume for heavy ass weight and PB's the next few weeks .

Extra Session

Mini-Band Shoulder Complex
Pull-Aparts/Dislocations/Presses/45 Rows x 2

Band Ass. Chins/Band Abs
Green band x 10/25, 10/20, 10/20, 10/25

Rear/Side Laterals SS
6kg's x 18/20, 16/20, 16/18

Hammer Curls
12kg's x 15,12,10

Floor-Ceiling Bag
8 x 1min rounds w/ 30sec rest

Some quick rolling and some internal rotation work.

Nice and easy, got lazy on the bag and felt the wrath of a rock hard leather ball a few times .

Some pain around my right knee so didn't bother doing anything that could aggravate it, hopefully will clear by Monday.

Knee seems to be alright now, lasted through squats anyway. Was my left knee too, not sure where I got right from.

16/07/12 - Squat & Deadlift

Squat w/Belt
160kg x 2 @9 PB
165kg x 2 @9.5 PB+10kg?
165kg x 2 @10

14" Deadlift
190kg x 2 @9
195kg x 2 @9.5
195kg x 2 @9.5
195kg x 2 @10

Bridges
2 x 1min

Tired going in and little toe still giving some grief. Not quite what I was hoping for but I'll take it. Squats didn't feel great but an improvement.

Mid back is picking up some fatigue and the pulls were tough.

I've had very little training around heavy 2's/3's or 90%ish so I'm expecting these next few weeks to be tough but very productive in handling heavy shit.

Cheers guys. Mid back is really stiff today, sure it'll ease after while. Running late but about to go bench and smash some PB's .

17/07/12 - Bench I

2ct Paused Bench
105kg x 2 @8 PB Always good to PB on warm-ups, never repped over 102.5kg

110kg x 2 @9 PB
110kg x 2 @9
112.5kg x 2 @9.5 Default PB really but still +10kg.
112.5kg x 2 @9.5

Medium Grip Bench
110kg x 2 @9
112.5kg x 2 @9.5
112.5kg x 2 @10 Default PB

Pull-Ups
BW x 5 x 4

Considering my form felt shitty today I'm pretty happy. I struggled to bounce 115kg to lockout in my first mock meet, so a double at 112.5kg with some left in the tank and pretty legit pauses aint too shabby. Just needed to kick the legs in a bit better today, I was flattening out at the bottom a little and forgetting to drive my belly to the bar from my heels which has been a great cue the last few sessions.

Finally have some confidence with the heavier benches rather than shitting a brick and pressing any which way. Although the second round of benching I was tired and setup got worse, these were muscled up but still, for a day where things felt a little off I can't complain.

No time for any assistance stuff but it's all good, I could do with a bit of extra rest.

Weighed myself for the first time in a while yesterday, roughly 97-98kg at night so not put any weight on in a month or so but feeling bigger and a little leaner and certainly not going hungry!
