03/05/12 - Bench, Dead & Squat

Bench
40kg x 5
50kg x 5
60kg x 5

Deadlift
60kg x 5, 100kg x 3, 120kg x 2, 140kg x 1, 160kg x 1

170kg x 3 PB Triple

Squat
50kg x 5, 80kg x 4, 100kg x 2, 120kg x 2, 135kg x 1

145kg x 3 PB Triple

Light bench today, all paused and easy. Was just going to deadlift today but I was having too much fun so squatted too. Just working up to some comfortably triples.

Getting some speed & confidence back with squats and no shoulder or elbow problems. I plan to work paused squats in somewhere once the bench peaking is done, although my squat strength comes from speed I think paused squats would help a lot.

Missed Tuesdays light bench session, had a lot of work to catch up with, no biggie. Next session is Saturday working up to singles and see how I feel. No time to catch up with logs, lab write ups and tough decisions today, wooh.

Cheers everyone. Confident there's still plenty in the tank for the triples so should hopefully keep the PB's coming over the next couple of weeks whilst I max benches. Also expected the session to hit my lower back pretty hard but I feel like I could easily go squat and dead again today.
