Sorry to hear about your belt but some knobs will nick anything that ain't nailed down
You'd like to think whomever found it would be decent and hand it in to the staff.
Anyway, quality work, use the anger

Cheers Kuyt. I'll get to see where beltless squat stands tomorrow I suppose, I best get used to it!

Need help with a belt JT PM me. I'll have the site cover some of the cost.

18/03/12 - Bench 6x6/Squat 3x5

Bench
40kg x 5
50kg x 5
60kg x 5

75kg x 6 x 6

Squat (No Belt)
60kg x 5 x 2
80kg x 5

92.5kg x 5
112.5kg x 5
127.5kg x 5

Hanging Leg Raises
15,12,10,10

Standing Band Abs
Small x 35

Stretch and roll.

Not a bad session, took some videos of bench. Foot position felt better, keeping feet slightly more parallel with the bench. Most fatigued day so far but still managed to stay fast and tight, worst part was getting the hips to loosen up. Squat was hard, dead after the bench to start with and no belt takes all my speed away and seems to drain me a lot faster, still made the reps though. Knee and hip is playing up though so I'm tempted to keep squats light for the next couple weeks. Abs were killer.

I wasn't giving up on the belt situation, was all different staff today and so asked everyone I saw, nothing. Was about to leave and saw another instructor who had the brain capacity to think to look in the filing cabinet that I would assume they store lost and found items in. Was so happy when he pulled it out, I hope that's the last time I ever need that sentence .

I will stop writing now, these sessions keep turning into essays.

Great news on the belt

Feet looked better but I think if you started further back on the bench (both feet further back and butt) before coming forwards, you would be better off. See on the video how you come forward and then have to slide back to stop falling off the bench? I used to do this. Starting off further back will solve this.

Things like this can seem pedantic but bench is probably the most technical of the three powerlifts and getting your set-up right can add kgs to your max easily.

Thanks LtL. Ye I see what you mean, I'll sort this out on Tuesday.

I don't mind pedantic, I'm an obsessive perfectionist .

Good work, keep it up. You're almost halfway, then we can see the fruits of our little experiment.

If you weren't already, I would accelerate the eating slightly.

I agree with LTL here. It is the hardest lift for me personally to work on.

I figured that it may be in the 'lost and found' section. It's great that you can get back into the groove but damn fine squatting beltless.

And what's this little experiment Fazc? I am always interested when the Prof is experimenting, it's like watching Sherlock
