11/03/12 - Bench 6x6

Bench
40kg x 5
50kg x 5
60kg x 3

70kg x 6 x 6

Light Squats
60kg x 5,5,5,6

DB Curls/Seated Rear Laterals
12kg's/6kg's x 12/15, 12/15, 11/15

Stretching, rolling and more food.

Bit of a program change for the next 4-6 weeks thanks to Faz and hopefully some progress with my bench. For the first few weeks this is the layout:

Sunday: Bench 6x6 at 70kg - Squat 5/3/1
Tuesday: Bench 7x5 at 75kg - Rows 5x10
Thursday: Bench 8x4 at 80kg - Deadlift 5/3/1
Saturday: Bench 10x3 at 85kg - Shrugs 5x10

Cutting lower body assistance and overhead pressing for now and adding 5kg each week. Reach week 3 and reassess.

It's like nothing I've done before but I'm looking forward to it. Bench felt tight today with lots of speed. Obviously I'd already done the 5/3/1 squats yesterday but just wanted to get a feel for squatting after bench and stretch my lower body out, lots of pauses in the hole.

Already looking forward to benching again, not something that's happened in a while.
