Thanks guys. Very happy with squats right now and no problems with the elbow . Although I'm fully expecting to faceplant when I try and get out of bed tomorrow.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I love your squat technique. Videos of your squat should be used as teaching aids.

Thanks Kuyt, much appreciated comments . Looked through my video's from the last few months last night and I'm still so p*ssed at how poor my first competitive squat was.

EZ Curls/Seated Rear Laterals
15kg+bar/6kg's x 15/15, 12/12, 11/15

Not a bad day. Overhead doesn't feel too good still, maybe switch back to strict military and drop the weight. Assistance all felt good, plenty of morons in the gym on a Sunday morning to get in the way though.

Squats and GM's hit the adductors and hams hard yesterday. More rest and will be deloading this week until Sunday and then I'm going to smash more PB's. 2 short sessions and lots of foam roller/stretching sessions.

Good work mate, in what way doesn't the push press feel good? It definitely takes a little getting used to the technique, especially as the weights crank up.

Thanks Hazzard. My right shoulder tightens up sort of, I think it's the remnants of a shoulder strain I had from squatting. Been doing a lot of mobility and stretching, should really have eased into pressing.

Awesome squats and that 450 deadlift was easy!

Technique on push press is huge, it takes some getting used to. Don't know if you've done a lot of them or not, but thought I'd throw that out there.

Push from your heels, solid contact with delts to start push, and perfecting timing on getting head under bar helped me. Just my .02, hopefully it helps.

Great stuff, JT!

My right shoulder doesn't like it when it gets heavy, just feels uncomfortable.

Thanks Mike, I am still feeling the squats, but it was worth it. As for technique, I can definitely improve overhead, I shall take note cheers.
