Cheers. Ha, badass maybe when I can actually get into the bottom position.

03/05/13 - Squat, Bench & Dead
Hang snatch, hip/thoracic band stretch
Overhead squat - full squat at middle finger on ring, plan is to work at POR next time as that's my limit.

Oly Squat 7.5min
105kg x 8 x 3

Incline 5.5min
80kg x 6 x 3

Conventional w/Belt 19min
200kg x 1 @7.5
160kg x 3 x 6

Had a presentation this morning so barely ate or slept in the last 2 days but I did choose to go to the gym instead of drowning my sorrows in the pub so not all bad.

Squats were nice and fast after the long warm-up. Incline bored me so rushed and got too pumped to bother with a 4th set.

Deadlifts were smooth and fast, will bump the single next week.

Considering this was 5th day adjusting back to keto its not so bad. Need to decide whether to have a 24-48 hour carb window or just add 50g dextrose in before sessions. Obviously I want the carb window to binge but I'm thinking the small amounts will get me through sessions and keep me more on track to loosing some chunk.

I usually base it on sanity.

You'll have those days where you just want to eat chips. I usually save the binge days for that.

Ye, that makes most sense. In that case, sanity was lost today.

40kg x 5 x 5

Bear Complex
40kg x 5,4,5

06/05/13 - Squat, Bench, Dead

Squat w/Belt
165kg x 1, 1
140kg x 3 x 5
140kg x 3 All paused

Singles were off, lower back was stiff in the hole so repeated 165 over adding weight. Back-offs were solid, last few with <60sec rest.

Bench
115kg x 1
125kg x 1
105kg x 3 x 6

Singles were OK, struggling to keep right shoulder in so eccentrics were super slow. Think the problem is with my right lat not engaging properly when I bench, when I finally got it into position and got my lat tight it cramped like a bitch. Need to focus some mob work here. This has always been my dodgy shoulder and sits slightly forward compared to my other and is a stubborn bitch with anything requiring mobility.

SLDL
130kg x 6 x 4

Nasty things, cardio.

Neutral Cable Row
80 x 15 x 2

Trying to get lat going.

Numbers for squat and dead are still easy, plenty left to progress on those triples. Bench is hit with dieting but that's my main focus for now. Body is fine, only problem I have is a stiff lower back from some medication but the only thing affected is the squat singles for now, judging things as I go.

08/05/13 - Press, Squat & Bench
Presses, band hips/thoracic/shoulder stuff

BTN Push Press w/Belt & Slayer
95kg x 1
105kg x F, 1 PB
90kg x 3 PB x 6

Front Squat All clean grip
95kg x 6 x 4

Hang Snatches & OH Squats
20kg x lots

POR Bench
80kg x 8 x 3

Shrugs
120kg x 8
150kg x 8 x 2

MOOOORE OH Squats

Slight PB for BTNPP and first BW overhead as I weighed in at 103kg this morning which is down about 5kg from anytime I've BTNPP'd recently. It's not fat loss obviously, just minimal water retention. I threw the first 105 forward for some reason so re-racked and smashed it no problem.

The extra warm up stuff is paying off. The BTN, OH squat and snatch work is freeing up my shoulders, hips, thoracic and calves amazingly, never been able to clean grip front squats.

Not benched that wide grip in a while, not a fan still.
