Cheers Al.

Friday 29/03
Tested out Sheiko #29 W1D3
____________________

Saturday 30/03 - GPP
Bear Complex up to 60kg x 5
____________________

Sunday 31/03 - Events!!!

Log C&P
Lots up to
100kg x 2 Easy PB
105kg x F lost at lockout behind head but easy up to that
These were whilst Graham Hicks was warming up and got some really good pointers on the clean from him.

Farmers 20m length with a barrel to go around at the end rather than drop, what a bitch
80kg ph x 40m
100kg ph x 40m x 2

Tyre Flip
~280kg x 3 x 4
~280kg x 4 x 2

Barrel Load ~Chest/shoulder height
105kg x 3

Good day but didn't push too much. First time with tyre and loads, but probably my favourite thing so far.

01/04/13 - Sheiko #29 W1D1 ~2hr25min

Bench Narrow, ~35min
67.5kg x 5 x 1
80kg x 4 x 2
102.5kg x 3 x 5

Squat ~40min
100kg x 5 x 1
120kg x 5 x 2
(+Belt)
140kg x 5 x 5

Bench POR, ~21min
67.5kg x 6 x 1
80kg x 6 x 1
95kg x 4 x 4

DB Fly/GM's
8kg's/60kg x 10/5 x 5

Always been drawn towards Sheiko and I think it's about time to leave my comfort zone and do some real work so 29-37-32 Sheiko for the next few months.

Overtucking on bench as its the only way I can activate right lat properly and keep my shoulder in. Biceps were tender on the eccentrics which started to kill my bench. Everything was fine today, took a long long time to loosen hips up after the last few days but squats were no problem by set 3 of 140.

First and last of each main movement in vid. Holding form in general.

Snap, I reckon I'm about strong enough and stable enough with form when fatigued to really benefit from it.

03/04/13 - #29 W1D2

Paused Deadlift
115kg x 3
137.5kg x 3
160kg x 3
172.5kg x 3 x 2
+Belt
172.5kg x 3 x 2

Incline Bench
70kg x 6 x 4

Military
60kg x 5
50kg x 5 x 4

14inch Deadlift
127.5kg x 4
150kg x 4
172.5kg x 4 x 2
195kg x 3 x 2
+Belt
195kg x 3 x 2

Ran out of time for assistance as started late.

Forgot I was pausing on a lot and remembered mid pull and then started to think I was pausing off the blocks.

Pretty easy day, shoulder was a little funky for pressing though so went through the motions a little.

First and last of both dead sets in vid, holding up ok.

05/04/13 - #29 W1D3

Whatever the spreadsheet said for bench and squats.

Bench was easy. Felt fine since Wednesdays deads but soon found out my hips were all fucked up.

Maybe something to report in about 12 weeks.

So you weren't able to get in any good squat work?

Oh I got it in, rushed logging so I could lie down sooner. 2 triples at 140kg and 5 triples at 150kg. It was painful but not injurious.

07/04/13 - Events

Yoke
170kg x 40m x 2
220kg x 40m x 2

Tyre Flips
280kg x 4 x 4ish
8 flips for time
280kg x 8 in 50sec
280kg x 8 in 46sec

Log C&P
100kg x 1
105kg x F Ground it out and felt it going behind me again so ditched forward rather than almost snapping some shit up like last week

I couldn't handle anything today, hips were throbbing after the yoke so chucked the tyre around for some fun and beat my training partner by 2 secs.

Thinking about competing in a novice comp a couple of days after my last exam. I can nail all of the events listed so could be a decent day, only problem is I probably won't get a chance to train events between now and then. Will see what happens though.

Time for cake before the gruesomeness of squatting tomorrow.
