Yeah, should be fine mate, it's just for fun really. I'll chat to them about it tomorrow.

Awesome work in here as always guys. I feel like a broken record saying it, but you guys are absolutely tearing it up.

Unless the lack of upper back work extends to many, many months it won't cause issues. I suspect it's the first time for both of us that we have done so much concentrated pulling work, and that is what is both weakening us temporarily and what will strengthen us in the long run.
I've been wondering if this has happened to HERC410 and myself.... Regardless great lifting, both of you!

Thanks Brawny. There is usually plenty of farting in the dungeon, but I don't mention it in the log

It's really good actually, it's hard as hell but a very nice compromise between doing max singles and doing sets across... do a bit of both! It feels good mentally to be hitting those big singles and I also feel like I'm getting good solid volume in with the back offs.

Monday 28th November

Squat (suit/belt/wraps) - 20kg x 10, 20, 60kg x 10, 100kg x 6, 140kg x 3, 180kg x 2

210kg/462lbs x 1
230kg/506lbs x 1 PR!
- back down
205kg/451lbs x 2
205kg/451lbs x 2
205kg/451lbs x 2

Partial Sumo (briefs/belt/wraps) - 150kg x 3, 190kg x 3, 230kg x 1

260kg/572lbs x 1 PR!
270kg/594lbs x 1 PR!
280kg/616lbs x 1 PR!
- back down
250kg/550lbs x 4 PR!

Phew, tough session.

Very pleased though, for the first time since using the suit I felt I got a legitimately deep Squat with 230kg. On top of that it was a comfortable rep. I'm finally making strides in the equipment, it's all up from here!

The Deadlifts were pretty cool, I was using 250kg for triples last time and I switched to this rep scheme and actually managed a series of PRs all the way upto 280kg.

Progress is being made!

Big progress Fazc. A smooth 506 can only lead to bigger and better things.

King Kong strength on that partial too.

That combination of squats and deadlifts is hard, hard, hard. Much respect.

I am clueless when it comes to gear, but it certainly seems like a good squat and a big weight. Nice work.

November 28th, 2011

Workout Time: 54 minutes

Workout Grade: B-

Nothing special today. Testing out a new approach to OHPs and trying to limit reps to 3 and under. Felt a bit weak in the shoulders and biceps but nothing major. 285 went up fairly easy.

This is the most I have ever overhead pressed, front or back. I might have had 300 in the tank but I listened to my body and did what I could.

Seated Military Press - Strict
Bar x 10
Ba x 10
135 x 3
185 x 1
205 x 1

285 x 1 - PR

255 x 2

255 x 2

225 x 3
225 x 3
