I use capsules, I read, a lot, that the powder tastes nasty. I use Serious Nutrition Solutions. Sadly not sold by M&S.

Last year I started taking vitamin D3. Took 5000-1000 IU until Novmeber. When I had blood work done, levels were close to max, so I have scaled back to 1000IU. I am convinced that this helped start the move back up. Unless you get out in the sun a lot, most Americans don't get enough sunlight and thus, D3.

I highly recommend the two. The D3 started the levels up, the DAA started the leaning out.

Thanks for the info. My D levels are down and I never see the sun. I thinkt hey are tied if I remember correctly.

Sometimes that's a blessing, a little extra recovery can go a long way when hitting the weights hard like you're doing. Git the main stuff done and don't sweat the little stuff...once in a while

On my 5/3/1 days I will usually just pick one accessory lift to hit semi-hard. The other stuff will be light and frilly or I'll just skip them depending on how I feel. Some weeks it just pays to save it all for the big lifts.

That is one thing I like about the 5/3/1 philosophy. This week ended up being a forced walk away deload. I will repeat Cycle 4 week 2 starting tomorrow, I hope.

Ive managed a couple of quick workouts here this week. Nothing special tho. Push ups, light squats, presses, curls core etc. My chin up bar is missing a rubber piece so its pretty much garbage unless i find it. Must have lost it during the move. Bummer cuz ive had it for about 10 yrs or more. Ill be moving to my temp place on saturday and will have to figure out a routine without much equipment.

Hope everyone is doing well.
