Workout Time: 64 minutes

Workout Grade: C+

Squats felt heavy, knees were a little sore and still fighting some lingering back pump issues. Left ankle still a bit tender, but bearable.

I wanted to quit. The energy wasn't there. My body wasn't there. But it is days like this when the mind must win. I wouldn't let myself quit. I had 50% in the tank and gave every last bit of it. It doesn't matter what you have in the tank on any given day. You can't control that. But you can control effort. One step at a time, one rep at a time.

I got it done today. Thanks to Gaspers for pushing me.

Diet & Supplements

--5 scoops of IsoFuel throughout the day.
--Allmax Taurine - approx. 2 grams in each IsoFuel shake.

Total calories = 2800 - Paleo free day. Not overeating but using this as a refeed.

As you know, when you feed yourself a deficit amount of calories, this also means that the body is running on shortages and has to revert to other sources for energy---and the body doesn't like this very much, and provides feed back telling you exactly this fact. The brain has all the power and knowledge: Pull from willpower. If this is failing, then pull from your passion. If this is dwindling, then pull from your heart. All these are controlled by the brain. The body does not know what is best for it, though it thinks it does.

But you do.

Bearded beasts have many things they can bring out when the chips are down.
