Db lunges front foot elevated
50x10,10,10 each leg

Db split squats rear foot elevated
50x10,10,10 each leg

Db step ups
50x10,10,10 each leg

Other assistance work...

Barely got through this workout... got too much sun and worked pretty hard. By the time i got to the gym, my body was in shut down mode, but i pushed through.

A new style of training takes some time to get used to.

This stuff is definately working my muscles harder. My old style of training worked me hard but it was a "whole system" workout. As in my bench sessions, i hardly got a pump from my workout, but my whole upper body definately got taxed. But with my imbalances, this was a poor choice of how to workout, since it just made my strengths stronger and my weaknesses weaker...

This new stuff is already making a difference. My right side lat has felt kind of dead for a long time now. Like i coukdnt flex it. Now its working a lot better. Its actually sore from my back day. The lower body workouts are hitting my glutes and hamstrings pretty hard too, which is what i really needed.

All in all, its exactly what i needed to be doing, but wouldnt swallow my pride long enough to stop the "heavy" barbell work long enough to straighten this stuff out, but now that i'm paying for my training, its easy to just do what i'm told...

That's good to hear. Really comprehensive and effective workouts are great to see! Your observations makes it all the more rewarding.

If it's what you needed it will all make your overall fitness and performance better.

Winners do the hard stuff/less fun stuff because they have to, that's why you're winning.

That's usually the hardest part for me when I take time away from heavy loads.
