Good workout. Used the SSB to save my elbows. They get beat up with the high frequency squatting and the racquetball is tough on my right elbow... had sub zero pain relieving gel soaking in under an ace bandage under an elbow sleeve. Lol. Got to do what it takes!!! The SSB is a good bit harder than a straight bar, but no big deal, i still hit the weights i wanted tonight and could have done a little more, but i'm still trying to get acclimated to the high work load...

Great work DX, I love the SSB for the same reasons, saves the shoulders and elbows from a lot of abuse.

It is a lot harder thouh. What do you think it equates to? feels to me like a good 20-30 lb heavier than the same weight on a straight bar...

They werent as heavy as i thought they'd be. I have to admit, they were a bit intimidating, as i've never used the 115s before... it was a PR as soon as they left the floor on rep 1

Started back taking my fish oils @ 10g/ day. Also added a glucosamine, chondroitin, and msm supplement to help with the joints and vitamin d3 just because i've heard a lot of good things about it. Back on a multi again too. Its been a month or better since i've used a multi vitamin... i need all the help i can get on the program i'm on
