Sorry I haven't been posting much, I'm still reading the forum - been meaning to get around to starting a new log on my road to recovery. Still training hard, but I've been training around the injury. Got an appointment with a shoulder specialist on the 25th (NHS, yo! But at least I don't need to worry about going bankrupt. ) to get some scans and confirm what it is and then I'll probably get referred to a physio. Can't bench, but deads are fine and I've been using lifting straps to make a ghetto safety bar to let me squat. Mobility is getting there so I'm hoping to squat properly soon, but nonetheless I can't really see my losing that much strength as I can do other exercises to keep my squat strength up.

Going through phases of feeling frustrated and okay about it. I can still lift heavy as hell, just not with that shoulder and I'm only 24. Plenty of time to recover and get back on the road to a 180kg bench press. Also, in the last week and a half or so I've hit a 272.5kg trap bar deadlift, a 252.5kg deadlift double and a 400kg leg press for 16 reps, so not too shabby. One arm-dumbbell chest pressing is pretty unique as well!
Sorry to hear about the rotator cuff damage and hope the healing process goes smoothly and well.

It's fantastic to see you finding ways around some of the lifts and still managing to lift..."necessity is the mother of invention" as they say.
