A little late but congrats on the 170 dead, great work. Plenty of strong sessions going on.

This is why I like to film sets, so many reps feel slow and ground out but watching back they look smooth and relatively fast.

Thanks guys!

Well my six day experiment was very brief. I have determined that:

1- I am a fool
2- I don't get enough sleep
3- 4 days sessions have given me my best results
4- I need to make cuts
5- See point 1

Anyways, I am now doing 4 days a week, the principles will not change: Squats, Deads, bench and clean & press will be trained for the baseline with 3x3 afterwards. Some assistance exercises will be used and I will squat twice a week (once with singles, the other 3x3).
I am flip-flopping more than a politician at the moment but at least I have not changed the overall focus and that is important I guess.
Also, I am taking diet VERY seriously now. Writing now my intake and also trying IF because I hate eating in the morning.

On the plus side, I did make a ridiculously tasty omlette of 6 large eggs, 50g cheese, tomato, 135g tuna which is around 1,000 calories, 100g protein but 65g of fat which may be a tad high. Had about 6-7g of carbs in total. I need to eat foods that will give me strength but stop me being a fat, shapeless bastard.

That's my kind of meal, but usually I go for the entire dozen eggs. But I know you're cutting

If you never experiment you will never know what works best, you tried it, it didn't work now time to move on to bigger and better. Are you running a low carb diet with high fats?

Also the plan looks good so far, and IF has worked really well for me so best of luck!

2500-3000 cals will be alright because my maintenance is apparently 3200 I am keeping a log of food this week so calculating what's what before weighing myself next week. All very scientific

Thanks MAB. I am trying to keep carbs relatively low, below 150g a day. What would you recommend in terms of fat/carb ratio grams etc? I am 5ft 11in and 211 lbs

Thursday 8 March
Last couple of sessions I have felt hungry going in despite having had a pre-workout meal. Legs felt weak today and I had that hungry feeling you get where your jaws want to rip into meat. Then I went and absolutely dominated my deadlifts

Deadlifts
80x5
100x3
120x2
142.5x1
162.5x1
165x1 - This was my PR about 8 days ago. I smoked it with absolute ease and held it at the top for several seconds. Thing is, I used chalk again I put it on at home, put on my gloves, did warm ups with gloves and heavy sets with chalk. Who says gloves are useless?

140x3x3 - Dominated this too

Pendlays
75x5x3 - Equals PR I think
Not great but I made the reps. Some went into my stomach.

Lat Pulldown
Pin 12: 3 x 6

Hammer Curls
20kg: Went for 20 reps: 8,6,6

Abs
Serratus 10kg: 3 x 10
Rope Pulldown: Pin 18: 3 x 10

I've just finished a meal but the thoughts of that omlette has made my mouth water

The 6 day per week sounded pretty tough but at least you've given it a go..

Nice to see the 165kg go up with ease..

keep smashing them weights
