Thanks Mark! I wish, I've accepted the fact that my squat will take an awful lot of effort to get relatively small gains. I live in hope that I'll hit some sort of strength spurt on squats later in the year!

Today was an easy session though next week I'll make a switch and draft in push presses from Sunday to Monday. Triceps were weak today, probably because of the pressing yesterday! As a result, this was a wonderfully un-scientific workout where I made up the weights as I went along.

Weighted Dips + 20kg:
5,4,4
These were garbage! Should be able to do much more.

Close Grip Bench
75x4
70x4
65x4
65x5
65x6 - Bounced the 5th rep so punished myself with another.

Abs
Side bends + 25kg: 3 x 12
Leg Raises: 3 x 12

Tomorrow is deadlift PR attempt day and I hope the rack is ready

Strong presses Kuyt. Also, keep getting squat sessions like that in and you'll have no problem adding weight to the bar!

Smash some deads tomorrow

Nice pressing Kuyt and bring on the deadlift PB tomorrow. What's your current PB and what are you aiming for?

Also, that dude told you to do smith machine squats...? *cries*

Thanks Hazz. PB is 160kg, going for 165kg and MOAR if I make it and feel good. Then I'll either do 90% doubles or cluster singles.
As for the Smith, the guy is an experienced lifter so maybe he has a point. I can't pretend to be Mr. Knowledge regarding weights! Probably not going to do them at the moment mind.

I was actually doing 25kg for 5-6 reps a few months ago so shocked at the relative poorness of these but I nailed that PR

Turned out to be a rather awesome session in the end. Funny how things work out. Somedays you'll lift badly when you feel crap but you don't know until you go.

Deadlifts
60x5
80x4
100x3
130x2
150x1
165kgx1 PR
Not easy but not life or death either. Biggest problem was last few lockout inches.

170kgx0
Had a go but didn't attack it enough and maybe didn't take long enough between reps. Got it just past my knees easy enough but couldn't go any further. Might have another shot next week

150x2
150x2 First rep of each was fine, second was hard! First time I've gone over 130 for more than one rep.

Pendlay Row
70x3
72.5x3
75x3x3
Not bad at all.

One arm rows: Been ages since I did this but as the lat pulldown area was taken, I gave it a go.
40x 8x 3 PR

Hammer Curls- Just threw these in at the end.
20 x 6 x 3
