Don't let it get to you. 1RM squats are a beast of their own. Half the time my form goes south or my depth is poor. Get it next time.

Thanks

You're right Steve, 1RM squats are in a world of their own and feel different than deadlifts or bench for me.
Anyway, today was the first of two deloads this week which is just as well because I felt crap! Nutrition was not good at home as the wedding was about celebration and as any Irishman will tell you, that is more liquid than solid!

Squats
70x10
75x8
80x6
85x4

OHP
37.5x10
40x8
42.5x6
45x4

Row
42.5x10
45x8
47.5x6
50x4

Decline crunch: 3 x 12

Probably going to add more cardio to my routine. Probably 20 mins on an 8-10% incline treadmill after 3 of my 4 workouts, 2 of my stair walking trips worth 20-30 minutes and 2 sprint interval training sessions when it isn't raining outside! I'll probably add a 20-30 minute run every few weeks to see if I am able!
I am too sedentary and have no excuse not to up it a bit.

Well for the purposes of last week, Dublin but that's where my brother lives now. I used to live in Galway for years but am originally from West Clare. A better eating plan (4 meals + 1 double scoop whey with PB or 3 meals + 3 scoops of whey divided in 2 servings) and lighter weights this week should prepare me well for the hevay stuff beginning on Saturday. Figured out that breakfast is now 1,000 calories lol! (70g oats, milk, 4 large boiled eggs, 1 wholewheat roll is almost 1,000 cals). Sets me up nice for the day.

Todays second and final deload session

Deadlift
60x10
70x8
80x8
90x6

Bench
55x10
60x8
65x8
70x6

Chins
3 sets of 5

Abs
2 x 12 decline
1 x 12 decline twists

Roll on Saturday
