Cheers again! 3 x 12 will definitely have me puffing like a steam engine. I'll probably stick with normal deadlifts for now and train on wednesday, friday, sunday.

Yeah, see how you get on with them. The only negative with normal Deads is they aren't really conducive to touch n go reps. And 36 reps is a fuck of a lot to pull from a dead stop.

Have a think about it, SLDL might be a better solution. Especially for your queer lower back!

Oh yes old chap, it is terribly queer!
Yes, high rep deads can definitely cause problems. Probably the most dangerous lift for high reps along with the Olympic lifts. I can always switch for deads when the time comes for lower reps.

Have a look at some of my touch n go SLDL recent videos and you'll see what I mean. They transfer over to the regular Deadlift very well and will build you some serious lower back power.
