You just hit a PR, an all-time best for you, tried for a second rep and expended a lot of energy. I tell you now, failed lifts take WAY more out of you than successful ones and I think we all know that! You then hit the PR single again. 505 is still on the edges of 90% so doing it for a triple is never likely to be that easy. Even the Power Imp is not immune

Thanks Kuyt, when you say it like that it makes a lot more sense. While lifting I never really think in %, just pounds. So in my mind if I am almost able to do 565 for two then 505 should be 5. But you are completely right.

How fast do you press Mab? Generally a quicker descent makes the pause look more pronounced which is easier.
