See, kuyt you've got no skill in picking nicknames for the imp. Iron Mike? No way.

The name reminds me of my family on my mom's side (Poland), we have some of those in my family.

I still like imp the best though!

Great work MAB. I can't speak for logs, but believe you'll see more ups and downs with overhead pressing than most lifts. Keep at it and you'll be gold.

The log is a nightmare mate, I've tried it, like, once, but clean and pressing a 220 is awesome man. And great work on everything else

Thanks Mike!

Depends on the week, when I lift 5 days a week they are both first on two different days. Since I'm a powerlifter right now though bench is more important so that must come first for now.

I just have been stuck at around 230 for a long time, I don't really know why just is what it is. Thanks though, and I will I really want a good log press.

Thanks hazz, I love the clean but the actual press is a lot harder then a regular bar.

Thanks Jen, nice to have another person in my log!

5/14/12

Deadlift
545x2
545x1 easy
545x1 easy

Squat
365x6 Each of these felt a little heavier then they should have but whatever still got some work done!
365x4
365x3

Shrugs
565x2
565x2
565x2
565x2
565x2
565x2
565x2
565x2
565x2
565x2
465x20

Jump Rope
BWx1500

Notes: Was really happy with deadlifts and would like to open my next meet with about 565, but we will see what time will tell.

Not going to complain about squats since I got 405 for 2 last week, but should have be a set of 8 just saying!

Havn't really done any cardio in a little over a week so jump rope really sucked, was going to do 2000 but started having cramps in side.
