Thanks Mike, I'm having a great time so far and will be back on Sunday to write about it.

Notes: Found a really cool gym to train at, they were having a photo shoot in the back where I was training. They actually got a few pics of me squating on the heavy sets whick was an ego boost. They had photographers from the Arnold taking pics of some bodybuilders, then once they left it was just me and this other guy in the back and they brought these really hot models in to shoot. So now its just me and this other guy and two very hot girls who are modeling while we lift.

Felt very strong on the first two sets of squats, but after the third set every rep was a grinder. Also learned that I need to work my core more since I was having such trouble with the 315. After watching the strongmen today I really wanted to try a circus dumbell but all this gym had was a regular size one. At least it had bumper plates though, this could be the most fun lift of any I have ever tried. I'm really considering buying a few bumper dumbells and a fat grip to play around with at home.

Also a quick note have some video of the strongmen and one of myself I will try and up load Sunday.

Yes they are, just so different then what I am used to.

Some Jump rope and practicing the olympic lifts with a barbell. About 20 mins, back hurt(s) pretty bad so not a whole lot of moving for the next few days.

Had a great time at the arnold, don't have a whole lot of pics since my dad was playing around with the video camera. He has been working a little on a short movie to go along with it, and when he finishes I will put it on its mostly footage of the amatature strongman and pro. I did put an album up of me and a few of the strongmen, not the best pics but it was shot with the video camera.

I haven't been off my diet in about 2 years, but ate a little of the stuff at the Arnold Friday then just went full on crazy Saturday. Let me just say today I am four pounds heavier. I tried every protein bar and a few of them several times. My big enemy though was something called Carnivore Candy, I had about 7 or 8 pork sauages and about 5 sample packets of beef jerky. I actually put on a 40pound vest of jerky packets and did 14 pullups for even more!

I also bought a book on olympic lifting to help me clean the bar, and I would also like to learn how to jerk the bar.

Nice squat session mab and sounds like a good weekend, my mouth is watering at the thought of pork sausages and jerky, not sure I'd earn much with my pull-ups though.

Notes: Lower back was hurting pretty bad today and really didn't want to lift. Just went in there and went through the motions today didn't have a whole lot of heart behind it today.

Only reason I went for a PR with board presses was because I knew there was no way I was going to be able to do that much rep work.

Really mad about the CGBP, I was about to lockout that second rep when I hit the rack about through me off balance.

Did the pump sets after dips and curls to get some blood flowing, felt really good and helped with my shoulder pain.

OH yeah forgot to say that I am going to try to do a strongman competition on May 26, its about 30 mins away from house.

It looks like a pretty good first competition, it should be pretty small since they are only going to have two classes (above and below 231).

The events will be:
Farmers Walk: 185 for 120ft
Deadlift for Reps: 405
Log C&P for Reps: 200
Atlas Stones: Unknown
TruckPull: Unknown

Its only a Silver level event at a gym in a small town nearby, so it should show me if I really want to do this. Also if I happen to win my weight class it will give me a ticket to nationals, even though I would be completely destroyed at LW nationals it would be cool to say I went!
