Is that shoulder pain coming from your grip? Meaning are you struggling to get your arms under the bar during squats, or was it a fluke pain?

The pain is still here and started after that one set of 375, the pain was and still is countinuous with random flare ups. I'm pretty sure it is just a fluke, but it hurts when doing andersons I will widen my grip a bit.

Quads are on fire this morning, which is always a good sign.

Left shoulder still hurts, but less then last night.

Had a lot of problems getting to sleep, then once asleep didn't get much (about 6-6 1/2).

Its funny how two days can be so different, I went from having a great bench session to a pretty crudy squat session.

Just thought these were notes for me to look back on.

Good sessions mab. Don't sweat the squat, you got some great work done. Remember that heavy sessions will impact something else. Having a sore shoulder can also impact the squat. You are getting it done and rising up.

Thanks OR, just didn't think it a sore shoulder would have that much of an impact.

Might not have felt the best, but it is what it is... still hammered some heavy weight. Damn strong for a young guy.

Thanks Pull, could always be stronger though! Also now that I have been thinking about it Was very happy with the 365 so not a horrible night.

30 mins of sprinting in 23 degree weather and -5 (?) with wind, always very fun.

Also went to lowes today and made a 2-board and 3-board so can't wait to play around with them Monday. Still haven't gotten around to ordering bands but will try Sunday.

I have had, and still sometimes have, both shoulder and hip pain when squatting. I found that consistent stretching of my shoulders and hip flexors almost everyday before and after lifting eased those pains tremendously.

Not sure if that's your problem, but thought I'd throw that out there.

And strong stuff, Imp! Seriously, 300 for 16? Wow.

I'm not going to lie I absolutely LOVE that nickname!!

Thanks for the advice will be looking into it, and I really have no idea what caused it. It just started hurting during a set, very strange.

Notes: After reading an article on the main page I started reading some of the chaos and pain blog and decided to give it a try with axle c&p. I really liked it, I could have gotten a double for the first one but I felt I got a lot more work done with this. I did tweak it a bit, instead of setting a timer I kept going until I missed two. If I could have I would have kept going, was having a lot of fun with the short rest period.

Tried some boards, my triceps were just to fried after C&P to give it a fair try. Next week only thinking about doing what I did with Log press and put it on deadlift day and make board pressing my main movement for monday. Just not sure if thats way to much lower body work for one day. They were also very strange pressing to, just not used to it yet. Also I think I will get more out of my two board, the 3 board is just way to short of a range to get a whole lot out of.

Felt great with my SS, dips and curls were a breeze today. I also ordered some bands Sunday, and I just got an email from UPS saying they should be here Tuesday. That is what I am really excited to try, just not sure what the weight will be. On the website it says at the top I should get 90 pounds. Is that per band or for the both of them, I think it means per band but not 100% sure. I find out Thursday though.
