Sled Pulling
200 lb sled, 100 foot laps, x 8 laps

Notes:
Wasn't feeling the bench press today, a little disappointed in the reps. But I hate bench press anyways, so who cares. I decided to do my sled pulling right after my upper body workouts from now on. I tend to skip them too often if I try to do them on my off days.

For those of you who are not familiar with the "+2" stuff, they are rest/pause clusters to extend the set. I do a final set of 6 reps, rest 30 seconds, then immediately do 2 more reps, then rest 30 seconds and do 2 more, then rest 30 seconds and do a final 2 reps.

Big fan of the rest pause.

Also, nice work on the sled. I sold mine in 2007 and regret it. I bought one back them without knowing what to really use it for.

Similar to DC, but the percentages are higher. It's really a fun way to train and saves a bunch of time over higher volume.

Sleds are awesome, yet brutal. I just made one out of one of my old off road tires. The tire weighs 80 lbs and it's easy to throw 25s inside it and 45s on top of it.

I second that! Keeps me pushing and not feeling sorry for myself. Whenever i feel like i'm working hard, i read a log where someone is working just as hard and sometimes harder.

Ya, I'm the same way. I follow a bunch of different journals. Some guys were weak when they started and I watch them get stronger every week. I figure I need to bust my ass to try and keep up with them. Thanks for checking in guys.

Great fishing trip today. My youngest son caught a couple of trout all on his own (first time). He was soo excited and I had such a good time watching and teaching him. Fantastic day.

I was pretty worn out from the fishing trip, so every set was a grinder. But I fought through the urge to quit and got it done!

Never tried the seated good mornings. How do you like them compared to standard good mornings?
