Warm-up: 500lb tire flips x 10

Axle cleans:

*I dont really feel the speed and technique I need to do these yet. Still feel really wierd atm.

Farmers:
160p/hX180' turn at 90' 3 runs total.
*Didnt time, but they felt really fast

Car Deadlift:
Ford FocusX2
*Had to quit exhausted from the heat

Notes: Hot as bawls outside. I burned through a gallon of water in 90 minutes. This was after I had drank a ton of water prior to prehydrate.

Default 7/1/2012 A new start to an already tried method

So I decided that me doing my own programming isnt the smartest thing on earth. I am heading back to 5/3/1 with the following schedule
Sunday: Squat and assistance
Monday: Strict Axle Press, axle cleans, axle rows
Tuesday: Deadlifts and assistance
Wednesday: Log Press, tricep assistance, ground press

I have the numbers turned way down until I get used to the condensed schedule. I also have lost a ton of strength over the last few weeks. I am fine with the strength loss if my weight loss keeps going at its current pace. I have a great chance of seeing the 240's in the next few weeks.

I will still be keeping up my cardio. Actually it will increase. I will be entertaining my kids during days I dont work and we just bought a season pool pass. I now get to chase a 2 and 6 year old around the pool for a few hours everyday. I plan on adding in some hill sprints along with my trail sprints that I have been doing.

It also looks like my wife has had enough of working out so I dont need to adjust my pace for her anymore.

*I really need to do fronts more as it didnt feel anything other than awkward.

Default 7/2/2012 Log Press and stuff

So I didnt make my goal of running last night. I did get my chance to chase my two kids around the pool for 2 hours. We got home late so I didnt run.

Today:
Chased kids around the pool again for 2 hours. This is more difficult than I originally thought. I did get a chance to swim about 10 laps with a 25lb 2 year old on my back. This was also more difficult than I thought.

Log Clean and Press:
90X5
110X5
120X5
140X3
160X5

180X>5 (Got 6)
*I have a bit of leveling to do in the yard. Log press was difficult to balance on with the uneven ground.

1 arm DB Rows:
60X3X10

Notes: Short, but i had to quit there. Still really hot outside again. Even waiting until 8pm was still too hot out to workout. Tomorrow is more swimming followed by deadlifts.

I was too wiped after 3 hours of chasing my kids around the pool to deadlift yesterday, so I did it today after the town parade.

*I know the stupidity of using straps on an axle, but it was too hot to get grip even with a ton of chalk.
