Same here I have my first meet this Saturday, I want to hit a 450 DL (I've pulled that in the gym) but im not sure how attempting a 315 sq in the same day will affect my deadlifting.

It will depend on how many lifters your meet will have. If its a small meet you will get to deads faster. I tend to pull better this way. Its the long layoff that gets to me.

Default 8/4/2011 Squats

So I had a meeting at my works HQ and forgot to print out my 5/3/1 workout. So I just did a random squat workout working up to a heavy single

Squat:
BarX5
135X5
185X5
225X5(add wrist wraps)
275X3
315X3(add belt)
345X1(add knee wraps)
365X1(easy peasy)

Leg Press:
2 platesX4X10

Foam Roll, stretch, and boogey out

Notes: 365 felt crazy easy in wraps. I havent had wraps on in a long time and forgot how much they tend to make me GM weight out of the hole. I will make this a good mental note for the next time I wrap up. i still plan on wearing my sleeves at the next meet, but I may borrow csday924's 2m wraps.
