Great job on deads, I usualy roll the bar into my shins to before a lift.

It was one of the exercises i did for physical therapy after my surgery. At first it was impossible, but once I got the hang of it, it wasnt that bad. I have tried to keep up on my balance and hip strength, but have slacked a touch lately.

*bicep got irritated on Rows and it caused pain lowering the DB's so I quit.

Notes: I am going to deload 25 pounds off my strict press and start over. I am also going to drop rows down to 95 pounds to work around this bicep. I am just having a shitty day all around. I cheated on my diet and missed a rep in my workout. Oh well tomorrow is my birthday so I should ssquat well!

160 x 3 is still decent. How close was the 180, and did you use any leg drive?

the 180 barely got above my nose with no leg drive. I just need to reset that lift and keep going. Honestly since starting to press twice a week, i have been amazed that I havent stalled yet.

Default 10/28/2011 Squat and stuff

So today is my 30th birthday. I decided to celebrate by doing some squats and by having an adult dinner with my wife.

Foam roll, stretch

Squat(w/Rehband Knee Sleeves):

335X>1 (GOT 3) Sleeves only PR

Front Squat:
185X3X3

Leg Press:
2 platesX3X10

Sat in jacuzzi for 10 minutes and sauna for 5, showered and left. Bodyweight post workout was 251. Not bad for mid day.

Notes: I was up sick all night last evening and slept very little. I think that had alot to do with my very bad workout yesterday. I was sick and didnt realize it yet. I woke up this morning like a million bucks, so I decided I better hit the gym. Happy with my sleeves only PR, but my wife had my flip cam so I didnt get it on video. I will start on my next wave at week 2 (the "3" week). This will better line up with my contest on the 19th. I wont be deloading this cycle, but I feel that I really dont need it.
