Thats a great first session mate, I am loving the simplicity of the new routine... proper Old School!! It would definitely be something I would do also, just cant commit to 4 days in the gym unfortunately... but definitely one to look at

How long did the session take?

That session only took 40 minutes tops. I kept to the strict rest times and was over before I knew it.
I have made progress on all my routines but keep going back to how the reeves changed me over the long haul. That was my favorite style of progress yet because you only have to get just one more rep each time you lift . when I started adding weight every time I finished 5 reps I found myself at the point of struggling to push the weight and form suffered. I like the thought of leaving a rep or two in the tank like this program is based on.I'm 41,not old but not getting any younger. I have a long road ahead of me so I prefer to try to keep injury free as much as possible.
That's not saying I'm going to be a wimp and not push but just try to lift smart.

Man I really don't want her to go away that far, its driving me nuts . I am taking her to give it a shot at a full ride scholarship but anything less and its really not doable.
Not all the way in California.

We have some schools in Texas, Alabama , Arkansas and Mississippi to look at also.
Recap: the trip to California changed my outlook. I love the place , school and all around atmosphere . I know that for her major in dance and fine arts that This is the right school for her. Lots of recognition from the film industry and dance world so getting a degree and going straight to work is a higher possibility there then any other school.
I dread the thought of my baby girl moving away but I'm excited for her .
I almost want to pack up and move with her .

We all have to make sacrifice's for our kids . I have to put up my selfishness to let her continue growing and spreading her wings.
We are still waiting to see if they offer more scholarship after her audition she done Saturday .
In new York they gave her $32,000,over 4 years.
Its going to take more to be affordable though. They really liked her even more this time then last and we feel good that they will offer more.

California's where she needs to be to get the recognition she needs in her field.

Week 1,day 3. Old school

Mid shin rack pull
205 x5 wu
305 x 3 wu

This is supposed to be 6 sets of 2 reps @80%.
That would have been 352 lbs and seemed to easy so I want with 365 as a starting weight.
So 365 x2 x6 sets.
Started off easy but was feeling a little heavy by the end.
Good starting weight.

Leverage machine squat. 3 x6 @ 60%. ( dont have a true one rep max)
195 x5 wu
285 x6 x3. Left a few in the tank on these but felt about right to walk into this program.

Ab's
Hanging knee raise 20/20/15

Kneeling cable oblique crunches.
30 x30
50 x 30 x 2 sets

Leverage machine calf raise with deep stretch with pause and pause at top
285 x 10 x3
Last reps on each set was a grind.

Total time 56 minutes.
