Well I skipped a week due to flu / bad cold. I am back to feeling good except for a cough.

First day home and felt great this morning so I jumped in the gym while I felt up to it.

Squat wu
65x5x2

Squat
145x5
195x5
245x3x5 sets. Lower back pump for some reason

Dead lift
205x5
305x5
360+5 x 3. Last rep was a grinder, could not stop coughing after about the 4th set of squats , may have had something to do with the struggle.


Over all I'm happy to just get back in and lift. Strength will come back up as I feel better, I have not had an appetite lately and as a result i was down 5 lbs this week.
Tomorrow will be a better estimate of exact how much i lost.

Really nice volume on the deads at that weight Chad! Squats not too shabby either. I am sure pump was from volume. Glad your on the mend as well - your lifting today showed it.

I wont have it for tonights bench session but I ordered one of those Ram's for benching
If its in by monday I may just make it a squat/bench day
