Well, I've been avoiding weighing myself for about 10 days now, I've been shoveling all the food I can find down my throat, but staying out of restaurants, and its been going better than I had feared. 10 days of eating until I'm satisfied and only 1.5 pounds increase. I'm going to dial it down a bit and shoot for 1ish pound a week loss and see how that goes for a couple weeks. I can drop weight easily, but I need to go slower if I want to keep my strength.

Thanks MAB! Local comp this September, I gotta get my conditioning up for it starting now. Last year I was still out of breath from the yoke walk by the time the next event rolled around..

I would like to do one strongman. I'll see where this powerlifting thing goes this year and probably re-evaluate my course come October.

So, the big deadlift day arrived, and went decent. Fewer reps again Still, got 10 singles. 8 in the first 9 minutes, then needed a break, then 2 more in about 60 seconds, but with straps, grip was giving out and lockout on #8 was spotty
