Same thing happened to me on bench with the drifting over my face. Good session brute, and your deadlift will bounce back.

Pretty darn good session today. Girlfriend went shopping for wicker baskets, so I hit the gym. Good idea. PRs and good work were had.

Power Clean - more of a deadlift then hang clean, but whatever

Never cleaned 185 more than once in one day. 195 was pretty good feeling too, and I am getting the bar higher up rather than catching it on my chest and inching it the rest of the way up.

Great session brute. Your Squat Volume is intimidating as always.
And excellent work on the deadlift w/hangclean (haha). You are throwing some heavy ass weight around. 225 is in your sights.

Thanks Josh. 225 is going to be a big milestone for me. I need 185 with an axle for probably around 10 reps in 60 seconds to take first place at the SM comp this september. Since these are feeling ok on my knee now, I'm going to start ramming them at least once a week.

Thanks BtB. The movement is finally starting come together. Its no where near perfect, but at least I'm shrugging closer to the right time now.

The frequent rowing seems to be helping a lot. My back is feeling pretty good, and the motion is getting more smooth. Pretty soon it will be time to start jumping 5-10 pounds a week and see where my form breaks down. I'm thinking I may do something like

Great work Brute and nice PC PR. That slow 1st pull + "hang clean" should work your hip extension well.
