Thanks BtB. I'm liking matching OHP with deads better than bench. After deads, my back is often too tired to make a good platform to bench off of, so this is working well.

Lifted with some guys from my gym who are into power lifting tonight. The ring leader wasn't around, but had a pretty good time. Squats tonight, but they seemed pretty high to me. On the other hand, I got used to some heavy weight on my back and using a belt.

Squat
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5 - PR
275 x 3 - PR

At this point, we moved the pins up and the squats were a bit high. I need to video them to see how high though.

3/4 squats
225 x 5
245 x 4
Add belt
275 x 3
315 x 2
355 x 1

Good time, hopefully I can convert them to full squats. As it is, I'll run my usual program in the mornings and lift with them at night when I can.

Even if high for you that probably means legal depth.

Belt felt friggen awesome. I finally understand what people are talking about when they say "brace your abs". I feel like I have 405 easy in my at this height with a belt.

Is there any way I can replicate that, or at least emulate the ab bracing without the belt? Any tips there would be appreciated!
