Congrats on the Power Clean PR! 185x1 is harder than it sounds. I tried Power cleans probably 3 or 4 months ago and could not hit 185. I guess what I'm trying to say is I know from experience that a 185 PC isn't easy!!
Good Squating also. I know it felt meh, but it still looks like a solid session!

**edit**
I'm not trying to say i'm some sort of measuring stick off what is impressive and what is not (in regards to the PC). Hope it didn't come off that way.

No worries! Thanks for the encouragement. I hit 185 before I injured my knee, but only with straps, so I'm pretty pleased to be able to get it without them after not training it for the past 3 months. And I totally understand that you were coming from your own personal experience. 185 might not be much to the olympic lifters with years of experience, but for those of use who haven't focused on it, its pretty damn heavy.

Missed the deadlift session Brute. That was a nice beat down. I commonly have off days after really good days so I'm not surprised squats felt a bit off today.

Yeah, I haven't been training on saturdays much, and I think I was feeling the max attempt on all 3 lifts only 2 days before. Met up with a power-lifting crew that trains at my gym, I'll be training with them thursday night. The "leader" talked to me some and said that with a couple tweaks, we could add 30 pounds to my deadlift in a day. Hopefully I will be able to train with them at least once a week, it would be good to work with some guys stronger than I am.

Really looking forward to it. One of these days I want to buy a couple acres, put up a pole barn, and put in nothing but benches, squat racks, and oly platforms. I'm sure there are other things that would be good, but as long as I had that, I'd be happy.

Good deadlift day today, but very rushed. Got to the gym about 45 minutes late, so only had 20 minutes to do my thing.

Deadlift
135 x 5 -> Power clean for 2 reps
225 x 5
315 x 3
365 x 1
405 x 8 singles had to strap up after the first 4, my grip has suffered some since I haven't been deadlifting for a little

BTNP
95 x 5
135 x 4 doubles

Thanks Mab. I'm looking forward to my next deadlift day. With enough time, I think I should be able to get 415 x 10 singles next week. On the other hand, its more proof (to me at least) that you don't need to be in the gym for 4 hours a day to get good work in.
