Congrats on the weight loss. It shouldn't take too much to tweak it down a pound of two.

Thanks BtB. If I can keep focused on my goal of 235 by the end of the year, I think I can do it. I get easily distracted by good food, and I don't have an off switch once I start eating, I just keep eating until its gone. Not a big deal when I'm at home with a plate of burgers and hot wings like tonight, but when there are a couple 16 inch pizzas in front of me, its a bigger deal

Gold's Social Club has asked me to help organize a strong man competition for them. Mostly they want my input on events and how to run them, and what can be done without specialized equipment. Currently I am thinking

Deadlift from blocks
DB Clean and Press/Snatch
Tire Flip
Keg/Sandbag Carry Medley
Wheel Barrow run
Farmers Walk
Power Stairs

These will likely be narrowed down to 4 events. Its tricky coming up with things they could do with the sort of equipment they have. Everything is rubber coated, and the event is supposed to be outside. I'm hoping I will be healed up enough to compete.

Pretty good session today. All done in 45 minutes.

Bench/Row - Rows done after each set of benching
Bar x 20 / Bar x15
95x10 / 95x10
135x5 / 135x5
155x2
175x2 / 135x5
185x1
195x1 / 135x5
195x5/4/4/3 / 135x5x4 - Bench PR + 1 rep. I think if I hadn't gone to failure trying for a 5th rep on the second set I could have had 3 sets of 4.

Neutral Grip Chin
BW x 2/2/2 - Different rack today, began with arms slightly flexed, but not my much. No swinging or jumping. Slow negatives

Farmers Walk
120x100 feet x 2 PR

Power Clean
135x5 - Still letting me knee rest up, but it felt good for 1 set, and no pain during or after.

Same here. It's why I stick to a big meal at night.

Congrats on the PRs today! What was your previous best farmer's walk?

Farmers previous was 115 for the same distance, so + 5 pounds per hand, and also felt much more steady and less winded after these. I'm thinking about getting a pair for handles, should be able to get them for under $150, and it would be a nice upgrade from the rubber DBs at the gym.

Weight wise, I've made it 37 feet with 195 per hand, but I'm pretty sure I could do better now. DBs only go up to 150, so I'll test it out once I get my handles.

Nice session. I like it that you did rows right after a bench set

Thanks Traps! The rows felt good, and it was a nice contrast to the pressing movements.

Saw the physical therapists at the University's Sports Medicine complex. They said my knee is pretty much fine, no real instability. Their guess was my hamstring caused the issue as its extremely reactive right now. Suggested another week off of heavy leg exercises and gave me some rehab work to do.

External rotation is apparently tight and internal is a bit loose, and the hip flexors are tight, so will be working to correct that as well.

Not exciting or pretty, but first round of physical therapy exercises is complete. Bridges, Abduction, isometric hamstring holds, and stretches. Doesnt seem like I should be this tired afterwards...

I'm pretty happy about it. At this point I'm waiting for the inflammation to go down, so ice and ibuprofen. Hope to be doing squats without added weight early next week.
