Haven't competed in powerlifting yet, but will be looking to get into a local small fed in the next year or so. Did my first strongman meet a couple weeks ago and had a great time. Strongman will be my primary focus, with powerlifting second. But first I need better overall strength to get anywhere with either.

Worst comes to worst, we'll take the 30 minute trip into marion and use the one at that gym. Bonus. The tire is outside, so won't have to worry about gym passes for it.

I want this tire.

Talked with the guys at this place and they said they would give me an old one if it was pretty worn out, or I could pick one up for cheap if it still had some life in it. Not as big as that above one obviously, but they have a lot there, so things are looking up.

GPP
25 minutes walking
15 minute ride on the bike that was a lot more effort than expected.

Flip this! That tired would be fun to flip as a group.

Sunday Weigh-in 251.6 up .4 pounds.

A little irritated as I was at 249 yesterday. Water fluctuations are hitting me pretty bad. I really shouldn't be surprised though as I ate a good 1/2 to 2/3 of a rutabaga last night with the hamburgers. While its much lower carb than potatoes, its enough to hold some water.

Took some measurements today. Waist is down another inch i think, but its tough to tell if i have the tape in the exact same place or now. Either way, I'm 2 holes tighter on my belt and my pants fit better than they did a month ago at 253, so progress is happening.

That's great news. The belt never lies.

Rutabaga...fries I assume?

Thanks BtB. I always like seeing the scale move, but fat reduction and muscle gain is the whole idea, so I'll take them at the same time.

Yep, made 4 cookie sheets worth of fries. They lose a lot of volume in the oven, so it never seems like you're eating that many, especially with how good they are.

Thanks Squatter. Its funny, I feel small at this weight still. My goal 5 years from now is to compete at around 285 in Strongman and Power Lifting. Its easy enough for me to gain the weight, but I have to watch my fat% or my blood sugar starts to get iffy.
