Bad bench day. Lots of excuses come to mind, but the reality is I think my CNS was trying to protect me. Bench is where I screw up my neck, and I tweaked (minor) my right trap yesterday. Better to not get injured and need to repeat a weight than need 2 months off.

Sucks that bench is still messing with your neck. Hope you get that figured out.

I notice you have some fairly big jumps in your warmups. Have you ever tried more reps with lower weights before going heavy? Like maybe 2 sets with 135, 1 set with 155, then the 185 set. Same with that big jump from 225 to 255, if you'd done the 235 in between, the 255 might have been more likely. Just a thought.

Don't worry about it Brute, you'll get what you want next time. Even though it wasn't an epic blockbuster, it was still a solid session. And they can't all be epic smash sessions.
