Nice job on the PRs brotta.
For me, once I hit a decent PR, I usually call it a day on that particular exercise (got that from Louie Simmons). I guess you coulda called it quits after that 340 squat, and maybe add a drop set at high reps. I like to leave the gym feeling mighty
Rack pulls rocked.

Squat
Bar x 5
135 x 5
135 x 5 - had a hard time getting loose today
185 x 3
225 x 3
275 x 1
315 x 1
340 x 1 - PR
340 x 0 - half squat. Got half way down, decided it wasn't happening, re-racked
275 x 1

Rack Pull -> Power Shrug
135 x 5 - felt heavy
225 x 5 - still heavy
315 x 5 - yep
405 x 5 - still heavy
495 x 3 -lighter
585 x 3 - not bad
675 x 3 - PR + 90 pounds
765 x 3 - PR + 180 pounds. I'll take it.

Tweaked my left calf on the last rack pull, stopped there. It feels pretty decent now, still a little sore, no bruising.
Nasty session brute

Good session today now that I look back on it. I'm definitely feeling the lack of a pre-workout right now, but its time to take a few weeks off of them. Calf is feeling fine, so I'm happy about that.

Bench - This was rough. I made them all, but I think I'll only be adding 5 pounds next week. I was totally fried after these.
Bar x 10
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 2
245 x 1 - felt pretty easy
215 x 10 triples (30/30/30/60/60/60/90/90/90/120 rest)

Lat Pull down - these seem to be going nowhere fast.
105 x 20
105 x 15 - never feel them in my lats, just my forearms

DB OHP
60 x 2 - wuuuuut? I dunno, but my guess is I'm trashing everything on bench
50 x 10
50 x 5
50 x 3

DB Curl - massive rep drop with the weight increase
45 x 6
45 x 5
45 x 3

How about you add 5 pounds per week until you get down to only one triple

Just tossing that out as a fun idea. Ignore if not interested.

That sounds awesome. I always wanted to try something like that, but didn't know if it was a good idea or not.

Once I get down into the 5 triples or less range, should I do any lighter work to keep my volume up, or just let it be?
