That's some yoke walk. You must have a grip of iron and of course strong legs too.

Thanks Kuyt. Love my yoke!

So, good squats, meh everything else. Over ate on junk last night. This is the last time for a while. The Starnes interview make me look at things a little different. I need to start asking what the champion would do, not what I want to do. I'm weak, but the champion isn't.

Squats
135 x 5
225 x 3
275 x 1
315 x 1
335 x 1
335 x 1
335 x 1
335 x 1 -> all to parallel or a little below. Getting hard.
225 x 4
225 x 4
225 x 3 - first time I've done reps after singles recently, killed everything afterwards. Better to rep on squats I suppose, but felt like a wimp on the leg press.

Power Clean
95 x 3
145 x 1
165 x 0 - there was nothing in my legs. Yes, this came up to my shoulders, but I just rowed the damn thing up.
145 x 3
145 x 2

Leg Press
170 x 5
260 x 5
350 x 5
440 x 5
530 x 5 - done.

Well, I guess feeling wimpy means you had to work that much harder. Nothing but goodness either way.

Thanks BtB. And yeah, junk food before squat day is a bad idea.

Great day today. Felt like I was dragging the whole time, but the numbers look nice on paper. Progress on all lifts.

Bench
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 1
205 x 10 triples (30/30/30/60/60/60/90/90/90/120 seconds rest)

DB Row - these are harsh
90 x 20
90 x 20

BTNP
135 x 8
135 x 6
135 x 5.5 - couldn't quite lock it out

DB Curl
40 x 10
40 x 8
40 x 7 -> 25 reps. FINALLY!

Winning! That's a hugungus amount of triples. Keep bumping those bad boys up and you're bench will be well over 300 in no time.

Awesome stuff, Brute! Great progress on squats and bench, but that Yoke progress is huge. Nice.

Thanks BtB. Its a PR of 5 triples. Who says single rep training doesn't up your reps! (no one here of course)

Quick SM work today
Yoke
265 x 20 yards x 2
365 x 15 yards
405 x 20 yards
445 x 20 yards
475 x 20 yards PR + 20 pounds. Steady, but brutally heavy

Tire Flips
Tire x 6 - technique is getting better slowly

Yoke Zercher
215 x 20 yards x 2

Like a dumbass I left the yoke out while I flipped the tire. Some nice minor burns on my forearms now from how hot the darn thing was.
