I appreciate it guys!

I regards to the upright position... Just a ton of work on timing and positioning. Oly shoes and keeping hips closely inline with the heels. Squatting beltless "helps" in that theres less room for error in regards to falling forward... stay upright or don't make the lift.

Cannot comment on the essentrics as I just let my upper lifts crash to my shoulders lol. I do agree that the first heavy single never feels the best and the rebounds sets feel more in-tune... but by that point strength/energy is usually sapped and improve positioning/technique doesn't help to push things heavier than they were. BUT a lot can be said for the improved technique/CNS activation/whatever you want to call it... after a heavy single and 5 down sets, still able to squeeze out a couple reps at or 5lbs below the daily...

Recently I've started to do several heavy doubles and singles in the range of 200-210 before moving up past 220. I do feel much better, but how much strength am I losing in the process (it is relatively close to my max). Tonight I'm considering working up within 15lbs of my estimated daily max, drop down to ~185-195 for a few easy singles then take a swing at my max.

Off Road... !!!

Thank you Mab. The spotters will do for the time being... but seeing them shake with 405 on them from Saturday's many failed attemps is forcing some thought into a rack OR bumpers. Or just not failing... But probably bumper plates

2 - 1 - 12

Clean & Push Press
-1x225
-1x235... Pretty Ugly
-2x2x190... Work Technique
-1x240... Not So Ugly!
-2x3x215
-3x2x225

Squat
-1x405
-1x430
-1x440... YES!!!
-2x3x390
-3x2x405
-1x10x315

Clean & Power Jerk
-3x2x205

DB Rows
-5x15x70

[I]Rep for rep, pound for pound, this was the greatest session I've ever had. It wasn't the prettiest and it was a 'painful' 2 hours and 10 minutes but great weight moved, a huge barrier broken, no aches or pains... hahaha.

To Steve: I did end up dropping down before my daily max was hit on clean/push press, however decided to wait until technique and feel was less than stellar. This happened at 235. Dropped to 190. Back up for a better looking and feeling, though still hard 240. It'll take a few weeks to see if theres anything to this...

440 Squat...

Full Length...

Bumper plates would be awesome to have.

That was a very solid squat and a very heavy press, great job pull!

Nice squat and I love the way you train. I have used Roamleos for the last year and I love them.

I like the look of it. Sort of a staggered ramping. You got me thinking now. Always like to try new things.

Congrats on that 440. You are a beast Pullzilla.

Next time I'm putting up ugly reps I'm going to try that backing down. Pretty cool idea.
