I have found that a wide stance on the GM's gave me an even better stretch. Also, ever since I started wearing my Oly Shoes (Nike Romaleos) for OHP it has taken off. The raised heel makes me feel much more stable. I actually almost fell backwards once when doing them in my chuck's.

It's music to my ears tho when I hear squats felt good!

Thanks Jim! I too use a wide stance on the GM's, and my hammies thank me for it for days.


SDS4DS - Phase 2 - Week 5 - Chest and Triceps - Strength
Bench Press - 220x2-2-2-2-2
DB Bench Press- 60x10-10-6
Dips - BW+15x5-5-5-5-5

Videos of my bench press are uploading now. Will provide commentary when I post them.

I was pleased with my lifts today. Couldn't quite make the triples I wanted, but it's all good. I'm not worried.

Still being careful with the back, working my way back up. Felt good, no problems. Everything else felt good. Pull ups felt good, the most I've done in a long time.

SDS4DS - Phase 2 - Week 5 - Legs - Density
Squats - 245x21 reps in 10 minutes
Leg Press - 775x8-8-8
Seated Calf Raise - 190x8-7-8-8-8-6 (45)

Talk about awesome! I love doing this 10 minute thing for squats. It's brutal and quick, but it leaves me feeling like a Norse god afterwards. All reps were below parallel too.

Monday
SDS4DS - Phase 2 - Week 6 - Chest and Triceps - Density
Bench Press- 195x5-4-2-3-3-4-4 (25)
CGBP- 170x5-3-4-4-4-4-5 (29) (PR for reps)
DB Extension- 30x8-8-7 (PR for reps)

The advice I got from my videos really helped. I moved back to the flat part of the bench, got my feet planted and pressed. Still have to work on the leg drive, but by the time I got to the CGBP it was fully activated.

Thanks for all the help and support you guys. My wave is building.
