Hahah! It was only because ladies were watching and I wanted the weights to make a bit of noise and the bar to shake as I locked out. It can be under the "leave your ego at the door" section

THanks guys! Just trying be strong like you guys

Monday was Bench Day

Bench Press
20kgx20
40kgx10
60kgx5
80kgx3
100kgx2
115kgx1
115kgx1
115kgx1

YES! FINALLY MADE ALL 3! I was playing with my foot positioning, and I made my feet a little more narrow, this let me get my feet a little further back (making a bigger arch) and it made my hips feel more comfortable.

Bench
92.5kgx3x5

Felt good! 95kgx3x5 next week!

DB Row

50kgx3x8

These felt good, 3x10 next week, and then I will have outgrown the DBs in my gym

Squat Day
60kgx20
75kgx10
100kgx5
115kgx3
135kgx2
155kgx1
155kgx0
155kgx0

This went badly, my lower back wasnt better yet and it was giving me issues. I made the first one, that went well. The 2nd one I got stuck in the hole, the 3rd one I got mid way up and failed. After the 1st single my back was tender, and by the 3rd I was sore. My knees were hurting a lot too. Not good.

Squat
110kgx3

I did 2 reps, my back was hurting and my knees were on fire, I did 1 more and racked the bar. I was feeling really sore, knees were on fire (first time they have been sore really) and my lower back felt sore.

I went and did 3x10 reverse hypers then foam rolling and my back was feeling good. Today my back is feeling a lot better, just a little tender. But my knees are still hurting.

By next squat day my lower back will be fine . I just am worried about my knees, I am not sure what to do about those.

I am thinking of getting knee wraps (they are legal as far as I know in the fed I am looking at? Or maybe its just sleeves.) or knee sleeves maybe. I am not sure, I dont know anything about them, so advice will be much appreciated . I think I will make a thread on this though?

Strong benching. Do you have any squat videos for me to look at? If your knees are hurting it could be a technique issue. Where is the pain? Wrapping knees may help in the short term and may well be a good idea but may also disguise a bigger problem until you hit big enough weights to get them hurting again.

Also the pain is sort of around the joint, kind of just below my kneecaps I think.
