Squat
180x5
210x5
237x5
237x5

Overhead Press
85x5
101x5
118x5
131x5 PR

Dead Lifts
221x5
265x5
311x5
344x3 PR

Assistance
Pull Ups
10,8,5 <- these went down. was fried from the deadlifts

Planks
40 seconds x4 with 30 seconds rest
added another set cause I don't think i could have held myself up today for 75 seconds on 3.

Good workout. Just pushing for good form and getting deep on my squats. It hurts my knees to squat when i first get out there and warm up with just the bar but once i get some weight on whil warming up they feel great. Looking back on the deadlifts now i realize the weights were too close for trying to rep them on a ramping scheme like this.
should have probably looked more like
212
256
300
344

going to do this for next week and hopefully ill smash the 344 for 5 reps.

Thanks man. Love doing the big lifts and not messing around too much with little isolation stuff at the moment.

Nice job! As mentioned, good deads. I agree on your updated progression for them. You'll hit that 5 next time for sure.

Planks make me shake like a leaf on a tree!

I like the simple brutality of this program too.

Thanks Mike, the planks were brutal, always are. There is just nothing to be sadi about them after a good hard workout!

Been really busy lately with work and other things going on. Haven't missed a workout but have been neglecting to log online which was bugging me. Got my workout in today on my break. In other news my bar really is 45 pounds I was just foolish enough to believe my dad's mind games. Bench is slowing down a tad but i got my 5 reps today so my next workout i'll be pushing for more reps until i'm due to go up again.

Squats
157x5
190x5
225x5
258x5
302x3 PR
225x8

Bench
135x5
162x5
184x5
212x5
236x5 PR
184x8

Rows
116x5
135x5
162x5
184x5
212x3
162x8

Squats were supposed to be 296 but i wanted 300 so i went and did it. Kept my form pretty solid. Made sure to get parallel or lower. Happy to see my bench press is still going up even if its just taking a little longer to get my 5 reps.
